S85 Collection Tool History

 

Purposes:

 

This screen allows MIMS users to see at a glance the collection tools associated with a specific file.

 

Prerequisites:

 

1.       MIM user must have applicable security authorization to view files.

            The following groups have access to this screen:

Helpful Hints:

 

·         ‘Alter Criteria’ is used as a filter when the MIMS user wants to look at the history of a specific collection tool.

·         MIMS user ID on any collection file is the user who implemented the original action.  User ID for any one working on a collection action, who is not the original user, will display with the collection action.

Collections  è Collection Tool History

 

Procedure:

 

1.       Select Collections Tab.

2.       Enter a file number and click the ‘Get’ button.  Collection Tool History can view Active, Incomplete and closed files.  This will display all active collection tools for the file and their status.

3.       To review or update a collection tool click on the blue hyperlink under the Tool column.  This will take the MIMS user to the specific enforcement tool screen.

4.       To view the history of collection actions for the file, click the ‘Alter Criteria’ button.  This will take the MIMS user to the S38 History of Collection screen.

Description/Instructions

MEP File Number

Enter a file number.

Click the Get button to display the Collection tool information about the file.

If the file number is unknown click the Search button.

File Number

Displays the file number of the current screen.

File Status

To assist in the search of a File Status, Active, Closed or Incomplete can be selected by using the drop down box.

Primary Creditor

This is the creditor, who is named as the original creditor with MEP at the time of registration.  Displays formatted name with the party number in brackets

Debtor

The debtor is the party directed to make payments to a creditor by a court order or agreement.  Displays formatted name with the party number in brackets.

Multi 

Indicator to identify if party exists on multiple files.

If any parties on the file are related to more than one file then the Multi File indicator is displayed

Alerts

“More Alerts” hyperlink can be selected to view currently active alerts.

Compliance Level

The Collection Progression defines the compliance level on every file from 0-7.  MIMS automatically assigns these, but it is possible to manually manipulate levels on Screen S84 Change Compliance.

Provisional File

These are uniquely numbered files created to track and manage transmission of Provisional Orders, which are granted in one Jurisdiction that must be confirmed in another Jurisdiction.

 

Issue Date

Displays the date the collection tool was implemented.

Displays as YYYY-MM-DD where Y = Year, M = Month, D = Day.

Last Update Date

Displays the last date the collection tool was reviewed or updated.

Displays as YYYY-MM-DD where Y = Year, M = Month, D = Day.

Tool

Provides a hyperlink to view the specific tool.

Description

Displays the name of the collection tool implemented.

Status

Displays the status of the collection action (opened, closed etc.)

User

Displays the name of the original MIMS User who implemented the action.

When click this takes the MIMS user to S38 History of Collection where the user can filter the view of the various collection actions.
